
It’s no secret that Shahid Kapoor can be quite the workaholic at times, and that extends to his fitness regime as well – he always pays careful attention to his workouts and diet. His trainer, Abbas Ali, recently divulged the secrets behind how Shahid manages to keep that hot bod of his in shape; read on for all the details! Abbas Ali says: “The secret is in combination training. We mix our training with strength, endurance, core balance, flexibility, metabolic conditioning etc. The magic lies in mixing. He trains five times a week for an hour. There are three strength training sessions, followed by two days of functional or metabolic conditioning. He also goes for a 7-10 kms walk or jog every week.”

Abbas also goes on to say that since Shahd is a vegetarian, he has to work out a little bit extra in order to build that muscle – which is why he can’t do without his daily dose of workouts, and will also make sure to fit one in regardless of whether he’s shooting or travelling.

Well, uh… I guess this is one of those cases where you can really say that hard work pays off. 😉
