OMG! This is such exciting news! Namrata Joshipura will be the Grand Finale Designer for Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013. The Delhi based designer who has been in the in industry for over 15 years will showcase her collection in March.
I personally love Joshipura’s work. They suit my fashion sensibilities owing to her sharp, tailored designs. Even Bollywood can’t seem to get enough of her. She can count Deepika Padukone, Sameera Reddy and Kareena Kapoor as ardent fans.
“For designers like myself who have sharpened their skills in India and abroad and seen the industry develop, it is incredibly important that we continue to promote talent here and it is an honour to be invited to showcase at the Grand Finale of Lakmé Fashion Week – Summer/Resort 2013” says Namrata.
Lakmé Fashion Week is set to take place on March 22 to March 26th.
