It seems that Irrfan Khan had an unfortunate accident while shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia‘s Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns. The actor injured his left shoulder and has been admitted to the hospital.
The accident occurred while Irrfan was riding a horse during a polo match scene. He had previously undergone a day of training in order to do this sequence, but while shooting, the horse began behaving weirdly and threw Irrfan off. He was then rushed immediately to the hospital, and apparently the director and producer of the film have been at his side since then to ensure that he’s doing okay.
It seems that they are awaiting his reports to know if everything is alright, but the film may suffer a setback with their schedules. Here’s hoping that the Irrfan has a speedy recovery and is back in action very soon!
