Last week I had the pleasure of walking in Neeta Lula‘s fashion show at the JW Marriott to raise funds and awareness for Beti and the No More Fear campaign against the increasing number of rape cases in India. I think it’s so important to send out the right message to our girls and our boys. Nobody is asking to be raped, no matter where they are or what they are wearing. We need to teach our boys love, compassion and respect. THAT is what we need to do.
I’m glad that the fashion fraternity and various celebrities are supporting the cause and raising awareness. And obviously I was excited to be part of it. I spent my day Instagraming up a storm after hair and make up! Here’s a peak 🙂

The Varuna D Jani pendant is studded with real diamonds and a hydro colored stone in silver. She chose a green stone as it denotes fertility and is strung with cultured pearls. The total value of the piece is 15000rs of which 25% will be given to charity.
