Actress Konkona Sen Sharma attended a fundraiser event called Dirty Talk (open mic) in Mumbai on Sunday evening. The event was part of the on-going Mumbai Gay Pride Week. Last year, they had actor Imran Khan supporting their cause and this year they were happy enough to find a supporter in Konkana.
“She appreciated our efforts and did stick around for almost the entire evening, unlike many celebrities who do a mere facing showing appearance,” said a volunteer at the event.
Adds the source, “Dirty Talk 3.0 is organised by Gaysi Family (an LGBTQ blog). The event took place at Apicius – Bar & Lounge and we managed to pull in a crowd of almost three hundred people. We had fifteen acts perform – ranging from singing, to stand-up comics, to monologues, poetry reading and a couple of rappers from out of Mumbai.”
