Seventy-six lissome and leggy lasses from all over India and even from around the globe, auditioned for the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013, of which four female models were selected by a prestigious panel of judges. The four lovely ladies – Pallavi Singh, Bhumika, Radhika Nair and Sangya Lakhanpal – were unanimously chosen by judges like Anu Ahuja, Neeta Lulla, Lubna Adams and Nonita Kalra.
Saket Dhankar, Head of Fashion, IMG Reliance, said, “Lakmé Fashion Week is known for introducing new talent into the fashion industry and in keeping with this philosophy, this season will see four young and talented models shine on the runway for the first time. They are contemporary, confident and have the right attitude to bring a designer’s creation to life.”
