The ongoing Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai recently screened the National Award wining film I Am, which was followed by an interactive session with the acclaimed director Onir Anirban and co producer and actor of the film, Sanjay Suri.Onir shared with the audience how he conceptualised a plot so real and how, when he had approached several production houses for this far from main-street Bollywood film, he was turned down by most of them.
They duo were delighted to open the ground for discussion on their film and interact with the audience. Of course, there were several questions regarding the themes of the four interwoven stories which reflect insecurities and problems faced in society.
