Taking the reigns from Jean Paul Gaultier, is Marc Jacobs who has been named as the Creative Director of Diet Coke for 2013. The 49-year-old designer for Louis Vuitton (as well as his eponymous labels Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs) is seen here in the first photos of the new campaign.
The newly designed bottles are set to be unveiled later this month, and will draw inspiration from female empowerment during the 1980’s, 90’s and 00’s. Jacobs will apparently be tweaking the logo a bit too.
With a design mind like his, I can’t wait to see what magic he will bring to the cola cans. Watch this space for more!
