This weekend Mumbai witnessed the supernatural as theatre veteran Raëll Padamsee brought to India an international artist who is known to be Uri Geller’s successor – the mind reader and mentalist Lior Suchard.
And what were the amazing feats he performed? From guessing people’s bank account pin numbers, to guessing the names of their first loves, to predicting what they will say or do even before they have said it, to making them feel sensations without touching them, to guessing where a coin is hidden among twenty hands, to predicting words from random newspapers, to bending spoons and breaking glasses without touching them – these were just a few of the supernatural things the audience witnessed by Lior.
Spotted enjoying the show were Anjali Tendulkar, Shazahn Padanmsee, Sharon Prabhakar, Sabira Merchant and Ashutosh Gowarikar among others.
