Elle magazine and the Ogaan Cancer Foundation hosted the colourful fundraiser – Elle Carnival For A Cause – Fashion Joins Hands Against Breast Cancer – at the Taj Hotel in Delhi, last evening.
A number of top-of-the-line designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Sabyasachi, Kavita Bhartia, Shantanu & Nikhil, Malini Ramani donated a couple of their glitzy creations to raise funds for Tata Memorial Hospital. There was also a silent auction featuring designer merchandise from prestige brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tod’s, Gucci, Christian Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, Furla, Hermes and Armani.
Celebrity guests like Ramola Bachchan, JJ Valaya, Sunil Sethi, AD Singh, Suneet Varma and Atsu Sekhose enjoyed a range of activities at the carnival like tarot-reading, massages, fortune-telling and fun games like ring basketball – all this, while a live band set the beat to the fundraiser with a heart.
