Since Rambo Rajkumar (starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha) is slated for a November release, it’ll perhaps be a while until we can see some first looks and other promotional material. However, the team seems to be super excited about their shoot, since this weekend was a flurry of behind-the-scenes pictures. Director Prabhudeva, writer Shiraz Ahmed and co-producer Viki Rajani have been tweeting pictures from Bhuj in Gujarat, where they began shooting for the film on March 1st. And do you know what they started shooting with?
Yep, they kicked things off by filming a song – Prabhudeva said once that he likes shooting a song first since it gets everyone happy and light-hearted. Considering his films are out-and-out masalas, having everyone light-hearted should be a good thing indeed – and it seems like the song shoot went well, since Sonakshi later tweeted:
Are you looking forward to this song? I am! They’ve shot at a pretty stunning location and if this is what it looks like from camera phones, you’ve gotta imagine what it will look like on-screen.
The team wrapped up the song after three days and are now headed to Rajkot:
Looks like they’ve been having a ton of fun on sets! Can’t wait to see more pictures.
