Bipasha Basu promoted her film Aatma on the STAR television show Arjun recently, and while her make-up looks really good here (the dress is a different story), she’s apparently going to be sporting very minimal make-up in Aatma. Infact, the actress took the call herself, insisting that she wanted to remain natural and avoid wearing lots of make-up. Wondering why that is?
Since Bips plays a worried mother in this film, she thought it would make no sense to look glam – especially since many of the scenes take place in the dark, where she’d just look funny if she was heavily made-up. Generally, actresses think twice before doing an unglamorous role, but Bipasha said she had no reservations at all.
Bipasha says: “Thankfully I pretty much look good in real life as well without any make up on.”
And that’s why she’s not worried at all – she thinks she looks fine without make-up, and has often heard from friends that she looks better natural. If you check out the trailer, you’ll see that she actually does wear very minimal make-up during the night scenes:
