For her upcoming show, Raat Ki Rani at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (7:00 pm today!), Nikasha Tawadey gave us an exclusive sneak peek into the collection. Celebrating the spirit of a playful femme fatale, the collection explores Nikasha’s tailored, contemporary outlook on traditional silhouettes and archived embroideries. The focus has been on wear-ability, keeping in mind a clean aesthetic with structured silhouettes. As for the colors, she has brought in jewel tones this time accompanied by some golds and champagnes which is again not something that the brand has done in the past.
Nikasha, “They call it a wide leg pant, we call it a sharara... in terms of silhouettes we’ve had silhouettes for years.“
This particular piece features a gorgeous organza dhoti with a fitted kameez. But my favorite part is obviously the knotted back. The overall aesthetic looks daringly playful yet very sensual, bringing out the many moods of a Nikasha woman.
