Many moons ago, Nikasha Tawadey was a regular on the Mumbai fashion scene. Her shows at Lakme Fashion Week were always among the “must-not-miss” category and her after-parties were always the place to see and be seen. But a few years ago, Nikasha packed her bag and baggage and moved off to Delhi where she has been showing regularly at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week for the past few seasons.
Mumbai’s loss is Delhi’s gain and that seems pretty apparent when you take a look at images from Nikasha’s show, held yesterday, inspired by the Raat Ki Rani.
While tassels are her signature accessory, I particularly love the nude tones and net churidars which keep you guessing. Her styles have in inherent, electrifying desi touch which stand out in magnificent jewel tones of Rani pink, ruby red, emerald green and sapphire blue.
