It’s the sequel we’ve all been waiting for. The question we all want answered: What happens to Andrea Sachs after she leaves Runway fashion magazine and especially, what happens to Miranda Priestly, the formidable editor?
Well, while the movie might take a while to hit the screen near you, the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada book will be out on June 4th 2013.
Called Revenge Wears Prada, author Lauren Weisberger sets the tone of this novel eight years after Andrea has left Runway. She is now the editor of a bridal magazine called Plunge and ironically, Emily (the one who was totally mean and bitchy towards her in the original book) is now her best friend and they work together on Plunge.
What’s more is that Andrea finally finds true love and is going to get married to Max, a media tycoon. As for the inevitable run-in with Miranda Priestly, well, it does happen. But we’ll have to wait for the book to release to find out if all’s well that end’s well.
