Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh’s latest horror flick 3G may not have been a success at the box office, but Neil doesn’t seem to be allowing it to bother him too much. On the contrary, our sources tell us that Neil is very confident about the success of his upcoming film Shortcut Romeo, which he refers to as a “Crazy Thriller.”
“Shortcut Romeo is a very kameena film,” says Neil with a hearty laugh. “It is very different from the original (Tamil) version. When the film came to me, I really liked my character. I always wanted to have that X Factor of haraamipan – pardon my language. And this film has that X Factor and so much more,” said Neil.
Speaking further about the film, Neil adds, “There’s a lot of cat-and-mouse games in the film. We have added a lot of twists and turns. There’s a lot of deliciously interesting badness in this guy’s character. And coming to commercial cinema, Shortcut Romeo will be my answer to that.”
The film also has Ameesha Patel playing a character with negative shades and it is a remake of a Tamil Film Thiruttu Payale which was a super-hit. It is directed by Susi Ganeshan who also directed the original version of the film.
