Nikhil Advani hosted a party over the weekend to celebrate his film Delhi Safari winning the National Award for Best Animation Film. The film, which highlights real-world themes of urban sprawl and the effects of humanity on the global ecosystem, released in October and has done well internationally too. Several Bollywood celebrities came out to show their support, including Karan Johar (for whom Nikhil directed his first film), Arjun Rampal, Riteish & Genelia Deshmukh, Irrfan Khan (who also won a National Award), Farhan Akhtar, Tabu, Shruti Haasan, Ratna Pathak Shah, Zoya Akhtar, Kiran Rao, and the lovely Konkona Sen Sharma, who we’re seeing out-and-about after quite some time.
