Even though we saw most designers trot out a vibrant and neon colour palette at the recent Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, a number of people I interacted with felt that most Indian skin-tones could not carry off such bright colours. Of course, I disagree completely.
However, I figured that while many of you out there like to be in vogue, you also like to play safe when it comes to experimenting with colour.
And so, for the less adventurous, I pick my ten favourite black-and-white silhouettes from the ramp – from sarees to dresses and even men’s wear. So now you don’t have an excuse. Wear B&W but wear it fashionably:
