We get a number of interesting tidbits from Bollywood movie sets and this one about actress Neha Sharma had us smiling simply because, in a way, it’s really sweet.
We all miss home food when we are away on a work trip and for stars who spend months away from home on sets in foreign locales, it must be a much bigger deal to be missing out on our favourite delicacies which our mother’s pamper us with.
Neha Sharma, who stars in Yamla Pagla Deewana-2, was in this predicament while shooting with Sunny Deol in London, recently.
We’re told at Neha was really home-sick in London and was raving comfort Indian food when Sunny Deol ensured that his co-star was served garma-garam parathas. We’re told that Dharmedra and Sunny had a special chef on the sets who cooked Punjabi specialties for the father and son. The senior actors made sure that even Neha got a taste of the chef’s culinary expertise.
Apparently, Neha was overjoyed to feast on some freshly made methi ke parathe which are incidentally, among her favourite kinds of parathas.
