Friday night at the Sunburn Arena left over 10,000 EDM fans spellbound as one of the greatest DJs of all time, Tiësto played LIVE in Mumbai. I love that the music kicked off early with warm-up DJs Willy, Nikhil Chinapa and 17-year-old DJ Shaan, who along with Colombian* DJ LS worked the crowd up into a music frenzy.
*Oops! Turns out the press note mistakenly pegged DJ Lost Stories as Colombian, which they are not. My apologies to Prayag & Rishab and thanks for the heads up @PwnStar629 xoxo
I especially loved watching the sunset (and taking a ton of Instagram pix with the model brigade Mariaa Cherniakovych, Surelee Joseph, Niketan Madhok, Mohit Marwah, Acquin Pais and Erika Packard) as the music intensified at just the right pace…
And of course when Tiësto got on stage for a brilliant two-hour set we decided to jump right into the pit to enjoy the full impact of his SFX, 2000 sq. ft of LED screens and over 300 lighting installations!
Did you know that Tiësto is the only DJ in the world to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds and to have performed at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games (Athens, 2004)? He was voted The Greatest DJ Of All Time by Mixmag in 2011 and ranked in the Top 3 DJ’s since the year 2002. What’s not to love? 🙂
