After I did an exposé on Rihanna‘s 18 sexy tattoos someone told me Justin Beiber has 11 inked on his own Bieby bod. So of course I had to investigate!
Justin’s first tattoo on his hip was inked to celebrate his 16th birthday and represents a family tradition, followed by both Bieber’s dad and uncle. It’s meant to be the seagull from Jonathan Livingston Seagull and represents learning to “fly” and learning about life in the process.
Bieber’s 2nd tattoo is inked vertically down his ribcage below his left armpit, and reads “Yeshua,” which means “Jesus” in Hebrew. Yup, his dad got one too. (Biebs is Christian but his BFF and manager, Scooter Braun, is Jewish.)
This time he got the classic likeness of Jesus with a crown of thorns and halo above his head on his left leg.
Showing off his penchant for religious ink he also got a pair of praying hands inked on his left leg, right below the image of Jesus.
Justin revealed this one on the David Letterman inspired by his album, Believe. Inked on the inside of his left arm, near his elbow.
Shortly after his Believe tattoo he got Music in the same spot on his other arm in the ancient Kanji style of writing.
Justin had his crown tattoo inked on his chest late last year.
This one is a bold big black and white owl inked on his left forearm. Owl tattoos typically represent wisdom and majesty.
At some point Biebs decided that his praying hands tattoo was incomplete, so he added some new ink to it including a bunch of roses in black and white below and to the side.
Justin Bieber celebrated the beginning of this year with a brand new tattoo – a profile of a Native American man on his left shoulder blade. It’s a tribute to his late grandfather and was inspired by a Canadian hockey team called the Stratford Culliton.
On January 14th Justin got ink for his mom. This Roman numeral tattoo below his right collarbone represents his mother, Patricia Mallette‘s, birth year – 1975.
And yet another religious tattoo has found its way on Bieby’s body. A large Greek symbol for Christ inked on his left forearm. Located right next to his infamous owl tattoo, features a simple “X”
