I heard the most awesome news last night: Finding Nemo is getting a sequel, and they’ll be focusing on one of my favourite characters from the film – Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres. The new film is titled Finding Dory (of course), and we’re looking at a November 2015 release for it!

According to the Washington Post, the sequel will apparently be set one year after Finding Nemo ends, and is said to feature both old and new characters. No word yet on whether any of the original actors will return to voice their characters, but Ellen is definitely on-board and even cracked a joke about how long she waited for it:

Says Ellen DeGeneres, “I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long time. I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’”

I’m definitely looking forward to this one! Are you?
