You know Ayan Mukerji is going to be behind the cameras for his second directorial venture, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani – but it turns out, on Ranbir Kapoor‘s insistence, Ayan is actually going to be in front of the camera for a short while as well! Take a look at a still from the scene.
There is a scene in Badtameez Dil (a song in the film), where someone is required to pop open a champagne bottle and smear cake on a guy. The team wanted Ayan to step in and play that character, but we hear Ayan was reluctant to appear on-screen. Ranbir apparently forced Ayan to do the scene, threatening that he wouldn’t shoot for the song until Ayan agreed. Ayan finally gave in, Ranbir handed him a coat, and the scene was shot.
Also, good news: this song should be released online this evening, so keep an eye out for it – I loved this song from the trailer so I’ve been dying to see the promo, and today we finally can!
