The canteen at Jai Hind College in Mumbai witnessed a lot of Bolywood mischief and mayhem yesterday – courtesy Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and the cast of Fukrey – as they launched the first look trailer of this upcoming film.The movie is set in Delhi and outlines the situation about a gamble gone wrong. However, the film is essentially about these four fukras (jobless/useless boys) who aspire to enter college and daydream about how it would be. Hence, the film’s makers found it only fitting to have the trailer launch at a college cafeteria. To add to the college flavour, they had college benches on the stage and they even serves samosa and cold-drinks to the invited guests.In fact, producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani (who are friends since college days), admitted that they were Fukras themselves. And even though they got admission in college, they were perpetually hanging out outside college or in the cafeteria.
The film stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadda.
