Former Miss India Universe 2007, Puja Gupta may not be a recognizable household name at the moment but with the release of Go Goa Gone, all that will change for the better.
According to our sources, Puja Gupta’s debut scene in the film will see her coming out of the sea in a bikini. This particular shot has been based on iconic scenes from James Bond films, Doctor No and Quantum of Solace.
Doctor No had originated this particular scene in 1962 wherein we are treated to a vision of the sexy Ursula Andress emerging from the sea in a white bikini. After which this exact shot was revisited in the film, Quantam of Solace. And now, the exact scene has been recreated by Puja in Go Goa Gone.
Says Puja, “I was lucky enough to shoot my bikini scene at the very end of the schedule. It gave me all the time to prepare my body for this particular scene. It’s my entry shoot in the film and I wanted it to just be right. Moreover this shot has received immense accolades when it was first done in Doctor No and now I will be revisiting the same.”
