I cannot believe it has been over a week since I was trying to apply red lips properly in the back of a taxi on the way to the Grazia Young Fashion Awards. That is true talent, I tell you. In typical city girl fashion, life has just been so hectic. I could give you a list of reasons on why this blog is delayed, but let’s just go with my non-existent dog ate my blog?
The first Friday of April started off with a bang. The first stop was Taj Land’s End, where Mumbai’s most beautiful faces helped Grazia India celebrate its fifth anniversary with a glittering ceremony honouring a new brigade of talented designers with the Grazia Young Fashion Awards, 2013. Some of my favorite looks of the night included:
Masaba Gupta in her own creation. What can I say? I’m a sucker for lipstick and fun prints!
Deepika Padukone in Naeem Khan. I wouldn’t expect anything less than flawless from the Cover Girl of the Year.
Sula Vineyards global brand ambassador, Cecilia Oldne, looking as fun and funky as always. Note to self: must invest in a head piece or two soon.

Special shout out to the sassy and charming Carla Vanni, Grazia International Network Editor in Chief, for being such a great example of an international business woman on-the-go. Doesn’t she look so ‘easy chic’ after a flight from Milan to Mumbai?
