Recently in Durban, some of Bollywood’s lovely ladies were the star attraction at the South Africa India Film and Television Awards (SAIFTA). The curtain-raiser event was held by Celebrity Locker and this is the first of its kind awards ceremony to bring Bollywood to Durban, to felicitate talent from both countries in the sphere of cinema and television.
Among the glamorous Bollywood stars who jetted in for the event were Dia Mirza, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shilpa Shirodkar, Richa Chadda, Raveena Tandon and Farah Khan.
The Indian panelists for this awards ceremony include Waheeda Rehman, Shabana Azmi, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Boman Irani, Farah Khan and Mukesh Bhatt – all of whom will be present in Durban in September 2013 to judge, nominate and present the SAIFTA awards.
