A poll that celebrates the top 100 greatest Bollywood songs of ALL TIME goes live tomorrow on BBC Asia Network. Um, LOVING IT!
As part of the BBC Asian Network’s season of programming to celebrate 100 years of Bollywood, they’re launching a vote to find the World’s favourite Bollywood song on Monday 29th April from 7am.
A team including presenters and producers, as well as a panel of experts, have shortlisted 100 songs from the World of Hindi Cinema released between 1940 – 2010, and are asking YOU – the Asian Network audience to vote for your favourite.
The vote closes on Friday 10th May.
Once all your votes have been compiled and counted, on Monday 27th May they’ll be revealing the TOP 100 across the day and one track will be crowned the greatest Bollywood song of all time!
The panel who compiled the 100 songs included Asian Network presenters, Raj and Pablo and Noreen Khan, British Indian rapper and hip hop singer, Hard Kaur, Bollywood film expert, Dr Rajinder Dudrah and Indian film critic and entertainment reporter, Rajeev Masand.
