Actor Salman Khan was recently in Gurgaon to rekindle hope for children suffering from congenital heart defects. The Fortis Foundation and Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation have come together to create a heart-warming initiative, The Little Hearts Program and Salman Khan was on hand to inaugurate the program.
Said Salman Khan in a media statememt, “From time to time, Being Human is approached by cases of children with heart conditions. The solution is very specialised and not financially affordable for a number of people. We needed to partner with a reputed institution that could offer a sustained solution, preferably at a pan-India level. In Fortis, we have found such a partner. Within ten minutes of my first meeting with Shivinder Singh, we shook hands and fifty cases have already been attended to in less than six weeks.”
Now isn’t that absolutely amazing? So many little hearts are beating because of Salman’s help. It’s wonderful.
