I went to the Mumbai premiere of Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist tonight at PVR, Juhu. My review is coming up, but for now here’s some eye candy!
Btw, it was actually kinda hilarious to see all the celebrities looking rather shell-shocked that there was no real “red carpet” and that they were clearly out numbered by several hundred casually dressed viewers! But I mean it just made them stand out more right? I love that the first thing Soha Ali Khan said to me in mock-exasperation was, “I’m always either under dressed or over dressed!” So lets see how they did.
It’s your party Mira and I applaud you on a packed house full of heart!
Chetan Bhagat went old-faithful in a classic band-galla while the Mrs. Anusha Bhagat brought sunshine to the flo.
This is one couple that just owns a room as soon as they walk in. (I also recently watched their play A Walk in the Woods so have even more renewed respect and admiration for this power duo.) Ratna Pathak & Nasseredin Shah I salute you (and your blue suede shoes.) See?!
Kunal Khemu is looking like no zombie these days (yummay!) Love the skinny tie with skulls on it (?) still working the movie, NAICE!
PS. I’m still trying to get a picture of GF Soha, surprisingly my photog missed her at the “photo-opp” her dress was real pretty though!
Um, then there’s the other way to do denims like Kunal Kohli.Why hello neighbour 🙂 – we work in the same building now did you know that?
And of course, I was saving the best for last. Priyanka Chopra looked absolutely drop dead delish in this aqua bodycon dress from The Source and her Fendi pumps.
And tonight I’m going call even it between her and Konkana Sen Sharma for this effortlessly chic summer-fresh ensemble. You can’t blame PC for dressing to the nines for a Mumbai premiere but you can’t deny Koko’s desi girl appeal in a simple white kurta with matching bell bottoms is utterly angelic. Who’s the hottest girl in the world? It’s a tie folks, its a tie.
