Shankar Mahadevan‘s son, Siddharth, is all set to make his Bollywood singing debut very soon with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the Farhan Akhtar-Sonam Kapoor starrer. Even though Siddharth has composed background music before, this is the first time he has decided to do the vocals for a song and it turns out that it happened quite accidentally. At least that’s what Papa Mahadevan says!
Shankar Mahadevan says:
We had recorded temporary track at the beginning of the shoot last year. We wanted someone who would be high on emotional quotient. Siddharth had done the temporary track. That’s usually the case; someone in the studio sings the temporary track. We lived with the song for almost a year and finally thought Siddharth was perfect for the song. Rakyesh and Prasoon both thought that Siddharth was perfect.
So that’s how the 19-year-old made his debut with the song titled Zinda. We hear that the makers will be releasing the full promo soon, but you can check out the teaser above!
