While a number of Indian film makers have put in cameo apperances in their own films or have acted in films by other directors, horror-film specialist, Vikram Bhatt, has so far preferred to stay behind the camera rather than in front of it.
But all that changes with Bhaag Johnny where he finally gave-in and has consented to play a role which is pivotal to the film’s script.
We hear it took a lot of convincing and cajoling on the part of director Shivam Nair, which left Vikram with no choice but to essay this particular character in the film.
Says the camera-shy Vikram Bhatt, “I’m making a special appearance in Bhaag Johnny. Though I had my reservations about the part, Shivam convinced me. Other than the fact that I’m playing a genie, I can’t divulge any other details right now”
We also think that if anybody is planning on making a biopic on the legendary MF Husain, Vikram should play the starring role. His likeness to the great artist is quite freaky.
