Heads up for a musical called Beyond Bling (The Artistes Studio production) set in today’s Mumbai which quite literally explores life beyond all our gadgets and gizmos and it does it all through song and dance!
What’s it about?
In this musical (keeping things tongue-in-cheek) the protagonist “Zorro” writes a book, called Beyond Bling, where he focuses on the lost heroes of yore, like King Arthur, Don Quixote, The Rani of Jhansi, Joan of Arch, Beethoven etc etc. “The Sheen” unhappy with this sends her dark forces to capture Zorro, who is now trapped in a Magic Crystal Ball.
Zorro’s son Vir, the little boy, and the “Cool Gang” set off on a journey to get Zorro back only to discover five virtues represented by the five heroes within the book, brought to life one by one through music, choreography, and movement.
