Imaad Shah (Naseeruddin Shah‘s son) and his crooner girlfriend Saba Azad (remember her from The Bartender series?) will be performing at Chez Moi this Thursday for their weekly Boiler Bar under the band moniker MADBOY/MINK.
They will be joined by Frame/Frame a.k.a Nikhil Kaul who combines “crunchy, melodic, synthy, dirty and raw sounds, channeling hip-hop, D&B and bass music sensibilities into a pedigree all of his own.” Whoa, sounds heavy.
“Madboy/Mink has a lot of funk and dirty synth sounds, but at the heart of it, it’s funky and completely unpretentious, dance music.”
Based on their cute & quirky cover of Mr Cellophane from the musical Chicago and who his daddy is alone I’m guessing the boy has talent! So I’m willing to check it out, you?
