Now hold on before you get THOSE kind of ideas. He means professionally!

Rajnikanth‘s son-in-law (of Kolaveri Di fame) Dhanush makes his big Bollywood debut in Eros International’s Raanjhanaa. He admits he found shooting for the film extremely challenging – apart from getting used to the way the Hindi film industry works, the actor also had to get a grip of the language, which until this film was completely alien to him.

Dhanush credits director Aanand L Rai and co-star Sonam Kapoor for the smooth transition.

“I’m closest to Sonam in the industry. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and helped me with my Hindi on the sets. She is very straightforward and will tell it as it is, which is something I admire.”

*Aww*, isn’t that sweet? He has a little work-crush on Sona me thinks 🙂 and that is mighty sweet of her to be so supportive of a total newbie. Nice to see good peeps in Bolly-land!
