Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone attended Jiah Khan‘s condolence meeting last night at Vile Parle Medical Club. The actor is said to have been in tears saying that he knew her since she was a child and she was like a sister to him. Deepika had also worked with her in Housefull and according to The Indian Express, looked visibly disturbed. I mean, who wouldn’t be? 🙁
(Kareena Kapoor’s dad) Randhir Kapoor, who played Jiah’s father in Housefull also attended as well as her close friend (Bigg Boss 6 winner and TV actress) Urvashi Dholakia, Nagma, Prateik Babbar, Sanjay Kapoor. So did Hrithik Roshan‘s in-laws and Anju Mahendroo.
Conspicuous in their absence however were the Pancholis howver. Both Suraj and Aditya Pancholi were missing after having attended her funeral.
Last we heard Jiah’s family has handed over a notarised copy of her 6 page note to the police for further investigation. The police now plan to send the letter for forensic examination.
