It was officially announced earlier today that Dr. Ashok Chopra, father of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, has passed away after suffering from cancer for a prolonged period.
He was in the Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
Dr. Chopra was diagnosed with cancer in 2005. Back then, Priyanka was shooting for Rohan Sippy’s Bluffmaster.
According to sources, the family was by his side when he breathed his last because they were informed that he was extremely critical.
