Last night my spy network spotted Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Gupta and John Abraham at the new restaurant in Bandra called Nido (right before Olive). I’m told John looked super yummy, Saif cute and Kareena not-so-much! In fact John and Kareena never made eye contact and sat at separate tables. It appears Bebo was giving him the royal ignore.

What’s the story there? Kareena and John’s ex Bipasha Basu don’t like each other ever since they first worked together in 2001 for Ajnabee. The two were shooting in Switzerland and Bipasha decided to borrow Bebo’s stylist Manish Malhotra – without her permission! For which Bebo had reportedly called Bips a “kaali billi”. Eeps.
Meanwhile Kareena once called John “wooden” on screen on Karan Johar’s Coffee with Karan show. In retaliation Bips said in another episode that Kareena had, “too many expressions” on her face when she performs on screen. Funnily enough in the same episode when Kjo asked her the one actor she may have been attracted to if John wasn’t in her life, she said Saif!!! LOL.
Since then however there have been reports that they’ve all grown up and made up so I’m not sure what the ice-queen behaviour was about last night!
*As Tina pointed out in the comments below on The Front Row with Anupama Chopra for Shootout at Wadala John had clearly not forgiven or forgotten Kareena’s comment. He mentioned in that interview that the same week “inane people” called him expressionless, Charlize Theron praised him for his acting in Water. Oh boom!
