So my favourite thing in the world of fashion is stumbling across cute vintage stores which would happen so often in New York but no so much in the bay!
I was in Delhi over the weekend shooting for Style and the City in Haus Khas village and as usual while the frame was being set up I, did what I do best …. Went shopping ;)There was this funky little vintage store, Lovebird and I think I set the record for how much a person can buy in 8 minutes! A pair of white high waisted pants… Totally chic, some patent leather grey ankle boots, a vintage cream and gold purse, an olive green shoulder which you will definitely see me rocking soon and much more!
My absolute fave out of the lot was this 1940’s hat which kind I wore the other night at the Body Shop party hosted by my sister! It was a total hit and proved what I have always believe which is that blending high street with high end and vintage is always the way to go!
Nothing worse than looking like you have stepped out of a catalog! Being able to mix elements and create your own style is what it is all about! The thing that I love about this piece apart from the really chic colour is that it becomes the feature of the outfit so you don’t need to do too much! I teamed with it with some cream high waisted pants (also a vintage store purchase) a white satin top and some nude pumps! I really think I was born in the wrong era 😉
