As you must have gathered from my tweets, last weekend we camped out at the Ramada Udaipur and it was a total BLAST. I’ve been to Udaipur, but I’ve never come across such a family friendly resort before. Super fun!
Aside from the fact that it actually LOOKED like a real fort I loved that they had a series of on-request activities that can be enjoyed by children (of all ages!) Take a look at my trip in pictures and video and be sure to pay them a visit the next time you’re in Rajasthan :)
Oh and PS. Outdoor heated pool in the monsoon? Major BONUS! xoxo
First up here’s a quick tour of the property that overlooks the monsoon palace.
I mean seriously, where else can you live in what looks like a fort, take buggy rides around the property, learn to cook Rajasthani food, wear a safa, watch a gravity defying dance show, go zorbing, get a spa treat AND swim in a heated pool? Only at the Ramada Udaipur, that’s where! :)
PS. The hotel is currently offering a Secret Escape Package which includes very interesting elements for the winter like a romantic dinner for two on their rooftop, vintage/buggy rides at night, champagne breakfast in bed, a chocolate fondue couples massage and exclusive use of the heated pool and Jacuzzi between 8 and 10pm at night!
OH! And Nowshad discovered this awesome “motion snapshot” setting on my magnificent pink camera recently that takes a mini slow-mo video and it is SO much fun to play with! We ended up taking so many of these I made a whole video featuring my adorable nephews Andrea & Michel Nemec – Like a Boss :)
There are several palaces and markets to visit within driving distance, we went to the very popular City Palace and took a look around :)
