So we all know that most trips to Bangkok are about the shopping and with so many markets and malls on offer you can barely cover these place in a week! One great new discovery that I made was a market called Asiatique that is on the water and has an amazing vibe! It is a new night market that opens from 5pm till midnight and is filled with unique Thai designers that create everything from shoes and bags to vintage and quirky clothing! One of the things I love about shopping here, is the variety of boutique designers that give you access to pieces that are very far and few!

There is one bag designer that I absolutely love and he manages to create these funky shaped clutch bags that are just a burst of colour! He covers the rainbow yet manages to make these bags chic funky and totally desirable! I walked into the place and was literally spoilt for choice! You get so overwhelmed that you want it all! But I was good and settled for 2!

Another great find this trip was a place called Terminal 21 (not the airport) which is a mall that has local Thai designers that make incredible pieces that are affordable and ‘must haves’ .This is where I did the majority of my vintage clothing and accessory shopping! Everything from dresses to actually more dresses because I bought about 10! I’ll give you a sneak peek at a few! Apart from being a great new place to shop, you can bank on Terminal 21 being a great place to rest your tired shopping feet and grab some decadent Thai food.

I think that Bangkok is definitely known to be a shopping hub but now that the market there is just saturated with goods, it is all about sorting through the quantity and finding the quality and for me Asiatique and Terminal 21 are the places to go! You can thank me later 😉
