Wearing a black mini dress with a net train was newbie actress Alia Bhatt who was the celebrity showstopper for jewelry designer Pallavi Foley at the India International Jewelry Week earlier today.
While many of the Bollywood showstoppers so far – like Neha Dhupia – have been styled like brides, Alia’s cocktail evening / prom look is refreshing and understated, yet glamorous. Thankfully, Pallavi didn’t pile Alia with jewels and instead, gave her a simple pair of statement earrings made from gold, white pearl and fresh water pearls, to wear.
