Joining a long list of internationally renowned celebrities and Bollywood stars who have supported PeTA over the years, is actress Sonakshi Sinha, who posed in their new campaign with a cute doggy called Bambi.
Sonakshi is a long-time supporter of PeTA India, and she’s been rescuing animals since her college days– including her beloved dog Nancy who lived with her for fourteen fulfilling years.
In a media release, Sonakshi says, “Breeders, pet stores and people who don’t sterilise their animals are responsible for all the animals who end up homeless. Every time someone buys a dog or cat from a breeder or pet store, a homeless animal roaming the streets or waiting in an animal shelter loses a chance at a home and a good life.”
So if you’re looking to own a pet, Sonakshi’s message is clear – ADOPT!
