Amit Aggarwal may have taken a brief hiatus, but now he’s back with a bang! The Delhi based designer is showing for the very first time in Mumbai at Lakme Fashion Week later this month.
Best known for his sculptural pieces, his collection will encompass three focal points: moulding, metallics and magic. Aggarwal revives forgotten techniques such as fluting, pleating and draping, which gives each piece his own unique twist. Expect to find fabrics such as satin, velvet and lace, mixed with hand cut metallic strips.
