Tusshar Kapoor has been planning on launching his own production house for quite a while now, and if word is to be believed, he will begin setting it up some time next year. Tusshar has gone on record previously to say that when he does make films, they won’t be art house cinema, but will have a mass appeal – while still remaining somewhat offbeat. A source also tells us that, although his sister Ekta is a leading producer, Tusshar is planning on making films with a “different sensibility.” And it seems like there’s already a Hollywood film at the back of his mind!
The actor has been overheard saying that the Robert De Niro-Sharon Stone starrer Casino is his favourite, and he would love to remake it one day. We’re not sure whether this would be the first he releases under his production house, since he has claimed before that he already has a script ready. But the actor has shown an interest in the 1995 Hollywood flick, and may consider it once his production house is up and running.
