Prabhudeva‘s film with Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha was originally called Namak, but the makers went a different way and eventually ended up titling their film Rambo Rajkumar after some deliberation. However, now there’s a buzz that the movie may be called something else entirely. In fact, according to producer Viki Rajani, they are already exploring a few other options. We’ve gotta wonder why, though… the title Rambo Rajkumar is fun! Don’t you think so?
The makers already have the rights to a few other titles – such as Macho Rajkumar, Raja Rajkumar, and Rowdy Rajkumar. But they’re not exactly considering retitling Rambo Rajkumar to one of these; the titles have been registered just ‘in case’.
Viki Rajani told TOI:
We registered these titles to give an Indian touch and might use it for a prequel or a sequel. We’ll decide on that later. We’re keeping our options open, so we’re blocking suitable titles for the prequel/sequel
