Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have a no-kissing on-screen policy, which they implemented ever since they got married. In fact, before she signed on Shuddhi opposite Hrithik Roshan, Kareena made it absolutely clear that she would not be doing any kissing scene on-screen. But recently, we’re told that Saif was in a narration, and there was a kissing scene written into that script! Kareena was around when this narration took place, so what was her reaction, you ask?
Apparently, Bebo just joked that since she doesn’t kiss on-screen, why should Saif? Fair enough point, so Saif asked the writers to rewrite that portion in order to edit out the kissing scene. The last actress he kissed on-screen was Deepika Padukone for Love Aaj Kal, but that was of course back in 2009 before his marriage to Kareena. And as of now, there are no plans for either of them to do any such scene in the future. In fact, Saif even mentioned on a Koffee with Karan episode that he wouldn’t be kissing any leading lady post his marriage.
