We told you earlier that Priyanka Chopra was planning on a bunch of different remixes for her single Exotic, and at that time, Anjula Acharia-Bath (CEO, DesiHits!) had told us that they were working on a collaboration with JoSH. Now, that track is out – it’s a high energy remix and Priyanka’s quite happy with it since she believes that it retains the fun nature of the original song. Priyanka Chopra says: I loved the energy that JoSH brought to Nelly Furtado‘s Powerless remix. That same energy is definitely reflected in the remix they created for Exotic and it was important for me to work with people who understood and maintained the fun nature of the song.
JoSH mixes it up interestingly by inserting the lines: “Kyun baage peeche peeche pardesi pyar ke? Main tera local chehla, mujhko bhi maan le.” Priyanka says it’s not something that they had planned initially, but she loves the way that it worked out. Do you?
