Here’s the news that’s been floating around the Internet all day today, and it has certainly made us sit up and take notice. Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor may be signed on for the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna, replacing Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. As you can imagine, there are a host of problems that may crop up in bringing the two Khans together – budget issues and date issues, for starters. And while we’re only having a bit of fun with with our cartoon, it seems that director Rajkumar Santoshi is indeed having a bit of a trouble getting Aamir and Salman together.
The director has just finished working with Shahid for Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, and has previously worked with Ranbir for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani, so is fond of both the actors. While he won’t confirm anything – he says he’s still working on the script – the rumours doing the rounds suggest that he is keeping his options open, and has both the actors in mind.
Obviously, a sequel to AAA with the original Khans would be epic, but we definitely wouldn’t mind seeing these two Kapoor lads in there either. What do you think?
