Actor Riteish Deshmukh has the rare distinction of having six back-to-back hits to his credit and is now proud of the massive response to his latest release, Grand Masti.
With a phenomenal opening collections of 12.5 crores on the day the film released, Riteish is all set to take Grand Masti to an even bigger number. Trade analysts have pegged the first weekend collections at 42 crores.
After being part of the star cast in Masti, to leading and carrying the film on his shoulders with Grand Masti, Riteish has seen an incredible journey.
Even his first production venture Balak Palak was a roaring success, proving that Riteish has the Midas touch at the box office.
His last six hits were Housefull, Double Dhamaal, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Housefull 2 and Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum
Among Riteish’s upcoming films are Sajid Khan‘s Humshakals (which he’s currently shooting for in London); his Marathi home production Lai Bhari (where he makes his debut as an actor); Mohit Suri‘s next Villian; a remake of Telugu film Sudigadu and a bilingual biopic of India’s first Olympic winner – Khshaba Jadhav.
